How to Prepare & Format Your Paper

	STEP 1: Complete a properly formatted paper document
	STEP 2: Generate your PDF file using IEEE PDF eXpress^TM
	STEP 3: Submit your paper online and complete copyright transfer form
	STEP 4: Register to attend IEEM 2014

STEP 1: Complete a properly formatted paper document

Please follow strictly the given IEEM 2014 Paper Template
Note: Standard paper length is 5 pages and no author may exceed 8 pages

STEP 2: Generate your PDF file using IEEE PDF eXpress^TM

NOTE: Your PDF file MUST NOT INCLUDE PAPER ID, PAGE NUMBER, & CONFERENCE NAME

The paper must be submitted in Adobe's Portable Document Format (PDF). The PDF file must pass the compatibility test in the IEEE PDF eXpress^TM. Your paper cannot be included in the proceedings if it fails the compatibility test.

IEEE PDF eXpress^TM allows you to convert your Word, LaTeX, or range of other source files into IEEE XploreTM compatible files (preferred option). You may also use PDF eXpress to check your own PDF files for compatibility.

	2.1	After creating your final paper using the given IEEM 2014 Paper Template go to the IEEE PDF eXpress website at http://www.pdf-express.org/
	2.2	Click on 'New User' option to create your own IEEE PDF eXpress account. Conference ID is : 34097X
	2.3	Upload source file(s) for Conversion and/or PDF(s) for checking. The site contains extensive instructions, resources, helpful hints, and access to technical support.
	2.4	Proofread the PDF file generated thoroughly. There could be missing symbols, equations, graphs and also errors reported. Please re-prepare the source file and repeat the conversion again. If problem persists, please use the online help provided in the PDF eXpress site

CAUTION: Until your PDF file is IEEE Xplore-compatible, DO NOT go to Step 3 below. Only IEEE Xplore-compatible papers can be published. If you have more than one paper, please be sure to submit each paper separately.

STEP 3: Submit Final Paper (Source File and PDF File) & Copyright Transfer Form

	3.1	Log into IEEM 2014 Paper Submission System using your user account. Go to “My Papers” to submit your final paper (Source File and PDF file).
	3.2	If applicable, update your author list, the paper title, your affiliation and the abstract. To update/correct your name and affiliation, you can do your editing at “My Profile”. The final program and conference proceedings will be prepared according to information that you provided here.
	3.3	Sign IEEE Copyright Transfer Form electronically. Upon successful submission of the IEEE Copyright Form, you should receive a confirmation e-mail from IEEE with an attached Copyright Receipt (PDF file).

STEP 4: Register to attend the Conference

Kindly ensure an author registers by the given deadline (1 Sep 2014). If the registration is not done, it shall be assumed that you wish to withdraw your paper from the conference. REGISTER NOW
